Walk a line across the screen

I used Adobe Animate CC to create this short animation where Finn uses the force to grab his light saber. I obviously took some liberties with this assignment where the simple line is represented by a light saber that I drew in Illustrator. I noticed that Adobe Animate provides several of the features found in Adobe's old flash editor. Creating frame-by-frame animations is pretty straight forward and I really like how easy it is to use onioning to see frames before and after the currently selected frame. I discovered that using the "," and "." keyboard keys provide quick forward and back frame navigation. During this project I learned how to use motion tweens to chain frames together using key frames to interpolate motion, saving lots of time in comparison to frame-by-frame animation. I added two sounds to this animation: 1) ambient forest sound, and 2) the light saber turning on sound. When I exported the project to Media Encoder, the ambient audio sound could not be heard in the exported video. The track could be heard in the published SWF file, but no matter what I tried, I could not get the ambient sound track to play in the Media Encoder exported video. That's when I decided to import the animation into After Effects where I added the ambient audio track and then used Media Encoder again to get an exported video. At this point, I finally had success hearing both audio tracks in the video. I realize that sound wasn't required for assignment one, but why not--right?
